The four cords were delivered on August 12th, 2010. I finished stacking it on Monday, August 23rd!! Much earlier than last year ;-))!!

The first pic shows what was left in my wood pile last June. The second shows the four cords I got in July, unstacked! The third shows the wood, FINALLY all stacked in October!! The fourth and fifth show what I have left from all that wood now (the wood in back with the blue tarp covering it is my neighbour's, not mine)!!! And the final pic shows what's left of all the wood I burned this past winter/spring! The pile of ashes is less than half a meter high by about a meter wide!!

With St. Patrick's Day coming up soon I highly recommend this beautiful little Irish film, Once! Great music and story. And, though it cost less than a quarter million dollars to make - it won two Oscars, including best supporting actress for Marketa Irglova! It also opened my eyes to the fact that Ireland has a large immigrant Slavic population!
