It has been quite some time since my last update. This one comes with a mixed blessing. Exactly one year ago today my wife took me to hospital where I stayed till April 8! I am still kicking around thanks to great palliative care mostly by VON nurses, as well as my Doctor, Neil Bower and your very kind thoughts.

Christmas was great – the girls stayed a few days and Paula’s sister an extra day. (With doctor’s permission) I had a couple of Prosecco’s with dinner – first drinks in 9 months, none since. Oh well, I’d rather be alive than loaded ;-)! Felt pretty good at Xmas and since really – still getting calls an visits which I love!

Black mark on past two months or so – my bloody computer was acting up – hence wasn’t getting all my e-mail – then I fell for a scam and lost control of it for 3 weeks or more. Finally, with the banks help as well as G and G Computers it is all fixed and bug free now – so I will try to be a bit more active on Facebook.

So far this winter is no where near as cruel as last year – knock on wood! By the way, thanks to Jeanne I had the best clams and chips late last summer – Thank you Jeanne!!!!!

Will try to be more communicative in future but I do still tire easily .
