Unknown's tales

08/09/08 Well it looks like this tale hasn't been read much at all. Just wanted to update and say Delta is better from her diarrhoea & stuff, also touch wood she hasn't had an Asthma attack in almost a mnth now. Well must get going. Hopefully someone will come around and read this soon to give it some food. Bye for now Sorry I haven't been around, been very sore after work place injury. After a month work cover still haven't decided if they'll accept the claim, so that's a mnth with no pay. Despite this I've still had Delta back to the vets. Poor baby had Diarrhoea so badly, she couldn't even make it to the kitty litter, she ended up going in the lounge & on my bed as well as the spare bed. I took a sample down the other day for them to check & still waiting for all the results, in the meantime they gave me some stuff today that will bind her up. She has to have it twice a day & she absolutely hates it, think I ended up with more of it over me then inside her, so going to have to put it on her paw & make her lick it up. I can't keep having her spit it everywhere & it's only for 4 days. Meanwhile she's still on the Cortisone injections & is getting sick of them too, she is starting to play up when I try to inject her. The vet said I can take her there but it would stress her out to much & it might just start all over again. She hasn't had an attack for 3 weeks now, so the injection must b helping. I'm happy for her in that sense, just don't like stressing er out with the medication.

Delta survived her little operation last week. She apparently has Bronchial disease (otherwise known as Asthma in humans), I knew this, but it has become worse :sad/sad0119.gif: She has been changed from her daily cocktail of drugs, to one injection, every 2nd day. This is to stop stressing her out so much & thus causing an attack. She seems to b much more settled now, but her mate Jewel was really bad all day. As in she missed her like crazy, wouldn't eat, go outside or even get off the bed, would hate to think what she'd b like if "Heaven forbid" I shld lose Delta. She was so happy when she got home, it wasn't funny. Here r the 2 of them together. Delta is Black & White, she is so big because of her steroids, unfortunately we got notice that she can't participate in the Olympics because of a banned substance. lol (Damn & she was going to do weight lifting at the puddy cat Olympics).

My real pet Delta (cat) has been having bad Asthma attacks lately. There is only 1% of the cat population that gets Asthma (or Bronchial disease as they call) & my baby copped it. She has to have 2 tablets, two lots of mixture and believe it or not an inhaler through a spacer (it has a little oxygen mask on it and she has to breathe through that). She's having a bad day today. Hate going to wrk when she's like this
