If you haven't noticed already, I have been MIA recently. To my adoring owner and all my lovely pets, I am sorry. I was sick about a month ago and was treated (or so I thought) only to become sick again with a worsening progression of symptoms including severe fatigue, muscle weakness, pain and general ickiness. Yeah like that medical terminology, ickiness. To top it all off, antibiotics which I recalled to taste like bubblegum now totally taste like @$$. Regardless, I'm in and out of doctors, sleeping most of the day on my days off and still working pretty much full time. I miss you all and hope to be back soon. If you would like to leave me a message, I will be having my former pet Joseph McClaren checking them for me. Thanks.

I was watching American Dad last week. The episode had young Steve carrying out his revenge in defense of his girlfriend's honor. The first hateful young girl gets a new car which Steve hangs a buffalo full of laxatives over. The second goes for liposuction and while she's under Steve makes her leg horribly deformed with fat. The third, girl who is the leader of the group gets her just desserts far worse than the others. In the middle of the night Steve steals her teddy bear. Not so horrible, but then he takes the bear and pays a hooker to turn a trick with it before returning it to the girls bed. The girl winds up looking like a whore with herpes all over her face from cuddling the bear. As I watched I realized with a bit of fright how drawn I am to cold, calculating, manipulative men. Then it occurred to me I was attracted to a cartoon. lmao

Christopher Columbus visiting the indigenous people of South America. Because clipper ships were totally out of the realm of their reality, these people could not see the ships on the horizon. One day, the tribal shaman realized there were ripples coming towards shore. He knew that something must be causing those ripples...but what? Day after day he strained to see, until one day, he finally saw the ships approaching. His people couldn't see them, until he described to them what he saw. Because they trusted him, they could now see the ships with their own eyes.
