I adore sloths and butterflies, sweet tea and my southern heritage, offbeat humor and competitive tennis ~ and especially my two teenage sons. I'm an editor, writer and technical consultant. I also do interior design and enjoy art and classical piano. My favorite book is Joseph Heller's Catch-22. I'm a study in contradictions: an old soul yet playfully immature; strong yet fragile; brilliant yet often clueless; slow to trust but fiercely loyal; quirky yet refined. I'm compassionate and unpretentious and do not hide that I have a few aberrations. I'm a Picasso in a Rembrandt world (but I prefer Monet, Van Gogh ~ and Banksy!). I'm a kite that is useless without a grounding, steady tether. I'm kinky but not warped, and I'm not for the faint of heart. I'm much like a dust-covered, old Stradivarius: intricate, out-of-tune and difficult to master ~ but in the right hands, capable of making the most beautiful music.
