In roughly three months (when my membership expires) I plan on canceling HumanPets*. I am 30 years old and realize I need to start actively pursuing my goals. Those goals being: to get a new job, to go back to college to finish my A+ Certification for computers so that I can one day open my own computer repair store (not necessarily in that order). HumanPets is fun and a great time killer, but that is all it is. It has actually become a hindrance in that I first login here before doing anything else. I would spend hours on end, here, doing nothing more than thumbing. Some of the posts, pages and tales I have read have been very intriguing and even insightful which only furthers my resolve to branch away. My goal is to be away from my current job and looking for a place to set up shop within 10 years. I want to say 5, but I don’t think that is realistic considering all I know I have to do to make my goal a reality. Thank you all for the fun and greats comments. Happy Thumbing. –Luke
*Read my last tale as to the deciding factor as to why to wait the three months. :)

I was talking with my best friend, and she suggested that continue on with HumanPets until my membership is over. I have decided to follow her advice. It is always a joy and pleasure to talk with her. She invokes thought and is always straight with me. It is because of her friendship, love and kindness that I am who I am today. She is the single greatest influence in my life. Thank you, Lupita. You mean more to me than I can ever express in words, or tales. My one hope, still is, that I can return you to at least a portion of what you have given to me. Luke "Sky walker Smurf"Confused

I left these tales for you to ponder, because they speak the closest to my life ambitions and thoughts. Maybe they may to you as well. Au Revoir :) Luke "Sky walker Smurf"Confused

This is my commitment to her.
You never know how much you really love someone, until you know it's best for them, for you to let them go.

Always be yourself. Never "put on a show", just to make others happy. If they don't like who you are, then they aren't worth your time an effort. You will always be happiest and content with yourself when you are being who you know you are. Luke "Sky walker Smurf"Confused
