The song bird sits in the leafless tree. Scanning the ground for some sign of life. Yet that sign of life has been drained by old man winter. The quietness and still of the world at this moment is deafening. Yet still in this seeming lifeless world. The song bird sings a happy tune. For the song bird knows that after each long lifeless winter. Spring arrives with the joy of life. May you always sing and smile in your lifeless winters. Knowing that spring will always return within time.
