Well, as a bit of an update on myself, here's what the next month promises me:

I'll be leaving New Jersey, not quite for good, and be moving into Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. Freshmen Orientation is the 23rd but I've signed up for Journey 08 so I'm leaving the 18th to go spend a week in the Appalachian mountains with 19 other freshmen.
That feeling of finally being on my own hasn't hit me just yet, but I'm already getting excited and weak-kneed from thinking about it.
I haven't told anyone about this, except maybe my master, but I've also met my birth mother this year and it was quite possibly the happiest night of my life. She is beautiful, smart, loving, and everything I've dreamed about. My brothers are the biggest sweet hearts ever too. My older brother, Justin, is joining the Marines in September and I'm giving him my first place Latin Exam medal as good luck. I would appreciate it if my friends would keep him in their hearts and hope that he never has to face anything life threatening. But, the puzzle is only half finished because I still need to find my birth father. My dad is a bit against it, seeing as how he left my mother when she was pregnant, but I need to know the whole story.
From my mother, I've found out my missing ethnicities: Native American (tribe unknown still), Irish, Welsh, Scottish, German, Dutch, and Greek. The Greek comes from my father's side and his last name, as I'm told, is Stephenopolous.
If anyone knows of that last name, I doubt it, let me know. Please.
More updates as I start college.

If you woke up one morning and saw me in your bed what would you do?

5) Just tell me to leave
6) Climb on top of me and cuddle
7) Do me
8) Make me breakfast
9) Ask me my name
10) Call the cops

This Poem has No Title...

What is left to do when pain is all you can feel?
How can there be light when darkness pounds at your head?
For so long now I have been trapped between the strong hands of that darkening pain.
Too long have I watched others leave me behind.
I want out and there are only drastic options left.
My mind is muddled and there is a weight upon my chest I cannot lift.
Even now these words make no sense to me, their composer.
I feel failure and shame in the eyes of those I see.
Someone who cares to listen and look...help me...

She made Axel put her down and cleared her throat a few times to regain her collected side again. "Uhm, yeah anyway...let's start training." she said after placing her bag down by the fountain's base.

She then jumped lightly and twisted in the air before landing nimbly on the water's surface, skating around the surface with a smile. Axel hopped up onto the edge and watched Shylah with a dumb founded look on his face.

"When did you master water skating? You've been trying to get that down for weeks." Axel asked with a pleasantly surprised face.

"That week you were helping Cid with his ship. Mumo sensei trained me." Shylah replied with a little twirl, while Mumo hopped up onto the edge next to Axel.

Axel jumped a bit and looked down at Mumo with a sigh. "No offense, but this cat will always creep me out." he said and stared at Mumo, who wagged his tail tauntingly at Axel. "What the...?! You want a piece of me, kitty sensei?!" Axel asked with a peeved face, Mumo issued a 'bring it on' gesture to Axel.

Shylah skated by and picked up Mumo before he kicked Axel's butt, looking at the two tiredly. "Hey, are we gonna practice or are you two gonna argue again?"

Axel chuckled and summoned his Chakrams instantly, while puffs of smoke formed on Shylah's wrists and around Mumo to place him back in Shylah's bag.

"I thought you'd never ask. Show me what ya got, Firefly!" he then jumped high up and flung a Chakram at Shylah.

She grunted while throwing her arms up to create a wall of water, which then formed into a wall of ice. The weapon broke through the ice, but veered way off course and returned to Axel. There were two silver bracelets on Shylah's wrists, but they formed into metal gauntlets that reached her elbows. Her hands were also covered by metal claws with two inch, razor sharp points on each finger. She jumped from one side of the barrier and rushed at the now grounded Axel and swiped at him with her right claw.

His Chakram blocked the attack, but he still had difficulty pushing Shylah off. "Damn, I miss two weeks of practice with you and already you're faster than me. Keep it up Firefly!" he then crossed his Chakrams and unleashed them with a fire blast.

Shylah formed a smaller water wall around her and waited until the flames scorched it. There was a column of steam hiding Shylah now, which was what she was waiting for.

Nothing happened for a few seconds, which meant one of two things: Shylah got hurt or she's plotting.

"This can't be good..." Axel muttered and took a step forward.

"It never is!" Shylah shouted from above Axel, now she had twin blades in her hands.

They were very simple blades with small handles, and they were as long as her gauntlets. She crossed her blades and unleashed them with a bolt of lightning at Axel. He had no choice but to jump into the pool, making a big splash as the bolt hit.
Shylah landed nimbly on the edge and smiled as Axel surfaced. "Hah! Already one for Shylah and zip for the soaked pyro Axel!" she said with a wink at Axel, who had a sour look on his face.
Axel swam over to the edge and scrambled up with Shylah's help, his spiky fire-red hair was soaked and all over the place. He finally smiled at Shylah as he stood up on the edge, rubbing under his nose also.
"Yeah yeah, so you got one on me. I doubt you can get two in a row though." Axel said and stuck his tongue out at Shylah, who pouted at him in return.
"Oh yeah?!" she said and stepped up to Axel with a tough face.
Axel blinked down at Shylah, completely unaware that Shylah brought her hand passed him and created a sharp gust of wind that sent Axel flying into the pool once again. Shylah jumped down next to her bag and slung it over her chest again and laughed with Mumo sensei.
Axel came up with a gasp and glared at Shylah, jumping out of the pool to chase her down. "You cheater! Get back here!" he yelled playfully after her, chasing her through the streets of Hallow Bastion.

Chapter One: A not so Shady girl

"Miss Shade..." an elderly woman's voice called, a bit annoyed it seemed.

The young girl the older woman was trying to talk to was half asleep at her desk, propping her head up with her right hand.

"Miss Shade!" the teacher yelled and slammed a book on her own desk, scaring the whole class and the young girl.

Her hand slipped from it's holding and made her head dip then snap up. "Where's the fire?...huh?" she mumbled and looked up to see a most peeved teacher looking down at her. "Oops..." she said with a shy chuckle and smile, while the teacher stared at her with daggers in her eyes.

Just as she was about t reprimand her student, the bell rang for the end of the day, with the whole class rejoicing and running out quickly. The young girl smiled and let out a relieved sigh, waving good bye to her teacher. A little puff of black smoke covered the girl and she was gone in an instant, leaving the teacher alone in the room. The girl reappeared on a fountain in the middle of a town square. The fountain was just recently constructed in honor of the Keyblade wielders, and it was huge. The base of the fountain had a large pool of water that poured down from the second story. The edge of both stories had stone hearts while the center piece of the second story consisted of three Keyblade hilts.

The young girl from earlier landed on top of the middle Keyblade. The wind whipped lightly at the young girl, who wasn't a 'young girl' but a teen of seventeen, one of the best Fighters in Hallow Bastion, Shylah Shade. Her hair swayed with the passing breeze, short, straight and dark brown strands tickled her face. She adjusted her black and red framed glasses a bit and blinked her warm chocolate colored eyes a few times. She opened her arms out as if waiting for a lover's embrace and let the warm wind whip at her dark blue baggy jeans and slimming black t-shirt.

She let out a happy sigh and smiled at the warmth of the sun and the breezes passing through her hair and fingertips.

"Finally the weekend...what a long week." she said softly, her voice was very gentle and soothing, but had a certain edge to it.

"Hey! Shylah!" someone shouted from down below, making Shylah snap back to reality. "Get your head outta the clouds!"

On the ground, standing next to the fountain's edge, was a little red dot of a man; Shylah knew that dot well, too.

"Hey Axel!" she shouted back, waving down to him while keeping her balance in check as well. "Nice day, huh?!"

Slung across Shylah's chest was a green messenger bag with a small stuffed black cat hanging out of the flap. -I don't think he's out just for the weather, Young Shadow.- the cat said, via mind link with Shylah.

"Yeah! But I'm here to practice, not enjoy the day!" Axel said with a sigh to himself, while the small black cat smiled.

-Told ya...- he said while Shylah chuckled gently.

-Oh hush, Mumo sensei.- she said to the cat. "Alright, I'll be down in a minute!" she shouted back to Axel and bent to climb down, but Axel stopped her for a moment.

"Why don't you jump?! I'll catch ya!" he said and held his arms out to her.

Shylah gave a weak chuckle and shook her head. "Oh no! Last time I did that, you moved!" she said with a sigh.

"I sneezed! Besides, you summoned a portal in time! Come on, don't ya trust me?!" he still held his arms out for her.

"Of course I do!" she said with a sigh to herself, standing up now. "That might be my problem..." she mumbled to herself and then bunched up her legs and lunged off the fountain for Axel's arms. -So far so good...- she thought as she fell down...down still...and actually into the arms of Axel.

Shylah blinked up at Axel, who managed to catch her bridal style and saw his ever-so-charming smile.

"See? I'll always catch you." his face would make any girl's heart melt, except it made Shylah's face turn 15 different shades of red.
