Finally... yesterday it was sunny and gorgeous and I cut out of work early by prior arrangement to get naked on the dock :) first dock day of the summer! yay :)
but now its the 26+ hour work weekend (36+ hours including Monday), so no more sunlight til... maybe Tuesday... oh well.

So in response to Acer's request for $500 to fix my stupid $900 (plus tax = $1030) laptop (so, like you charge me $100/hour to install a part worth half the cost of my laptop? The power supply is worth $400? Because there is no component in a computer I couldn't take out and replace in under an hour and you're the professionals) I bought a Mac.

I ordered it from their site and it should arrive just in time for me to be too busy with yoga training (5am til 9pm for 2 weeks) to be online.. but hey, if I do get online, I'll be online with a Mac instead of a piece of sh1t Acer.

I might donate the Acer to the local gun club if they'll accept it for target practice... will see. Guns are a lot more expensive and harder to get here in Canada than in the States or I'd shoot it myself.
