Something I wrote in may blog last June 20,2008

I went house to house to all my neighbor last night, i wrote a letter of appeal for them and apologized if ever my dog was indeed noisy however, i learned that It's not my dog that they would like to complain, its someone else dog..

Sad fact is, there's no serious complain against my dog..she's not noisy, not stinky and she didn't bite anyone. It's just that my landlady feared that my dog MIGHT bite & harm anyone specially one of our neighbors in the FUTURE.

I tried to reason out and negotiate to her but she refused to take any and all my words. For her, all dog bites.. all dogs can't be trusted (except of puppies maybe)..telling me stories of people being bitten by dogs that she knowns going in our village.

I wanted to debate and rebute her but I know it will be no use, her mind is already close about this matter.

She didn't care even do my neighbor already signed in my waiver form (approving Zoey to stay with me). She didn't take into account that they didn't even hear any bark from my dog. She wants my dog out this Sunday and its final. Even my request of extension was denied.

She said she only allowed it before because she's still a baby and now shes a full grown dog, she viewed my dog as a potential harm to anyone.

I have no other choice but be obliged to find a new place for Zoey or else, I need to find a new place for all of us..which I can't afford for now & I felt so trapped and extremely sad..

This Sunday, I will bring Zoey to my friend who will take good care of her..I told her that I will visit Zoey from time to time and once I can afford to have a new place that allows pets..i will take Zoey back.



I will surely miss my Zoey, she's more than a pet dog to me.. she's my family..my baby.

What's the Best "No Bark" Devices for Dogs...
That I can find and buy here in the Phils. specially here in the Metro?

Just last night, my landlady called me at home telling me that a neighbor complained to her that my pet dog Zoey is noisy (barking)
and even aggressive (which is not.. just a little hyper but she doesn't bite..she's even afraid of strangers).. Thus asked me to removed my dog from our unit after Sunday this week.

I was shocked, it was totally unexpected. Zoey is with us for almost 7 months now, why just now? I cried a river just thinking I can no longer have her around. But after crying I decided to find a solution for it. My other neighbor who is also a dog lover (he have 6 dogs) suggested that I talk to all of my neighbor and let them signed a waiver saying they don't mind if I have a dog in my place...I will ask even plead to them to let her stay with me then in return I will do all the necessary and possible ways to lessen if not eliminate the barking problems that they been complaining against my dog.

Just this morning I already went to Cartimar, a a nearby local market known for animals and pets. Unfortunately, they don't have a device that could help me in my problem. What they just have is a "nylon fabric muzzle" that will surely prohibits my dog to bark and bite anyone.

Putting her on a Muzzle is very hard for me but I have to do it until I'll be able to find and buy a more comfortable, effective and not so expensive device for her barking problems.

I already browsed the net, my only concern now is to find if ever we already have something like those things here in the Phils.. if you know a store and have an idea about its price, please tell me so.. your assistance will be greatly appreciated. If none, then I have to buy online and wait for it to arrive.

Tonight I will start talking to my neighbors and landlady to make a compromise.. please wish me luck.. i need my Zoey with me, she's not just a pet dog to me but also a very dear friend..she gave me happiness that parting from her is like losing a big part of me too.
