I had two powerful dreams last night. The first one was disturbing and I’d rather not think about it as it left me with a bad feeling. But the second one was quite beautiful. I dreamed of being in a utopia. Geographically speaking my mind placed this location in Poland. I got off of a bus in a wooded area. It was a beautiful forest and a beautiful day. The trees were tall and spectacular but it was not an unreachable beauty that cannot realistically be found. If not for the towering trees it might even be called somewhat plain for expectations of a utopia. It was more the feeling I had as I walked thought it. I was blissfully happy and at peace by my surroundings. I passed some children lost so happily in play. And I would occasionally pass an odd object such as play dough that was placed there for passersby to enjoy. It was a bit of a quirky forest of pleasant surprises, with lots of open space too so the sun could shine down on you. It was also a perfect day. The feel of the sun, a lightest breeze on my skin. And then I found myself being greeted by some of my family who live there and who were so happy to see me. And the particular people who I found myself being greeted by were ones who I see almost like utopias in themselves for being so incredible. Rare personalities of kindness and humility that you almost feel don’t belong on this plane of existence. As I woke up I felt terribly sad and empty as I realized this utopia was a dream. By comparison to other such dreams I have had though this one was not so unrealistic. There were many aspects in it that I can pull from it and enjoy in reality. Maybe not all at once, but none the less I can still enjoy them for what they have to offer. I’d like to create my own utopia. I realize this will have to come from within me. So much happiness still to find.
