In the U.S.A. May 30th is Memorial Day. This holiday was created to honor military personnel who died serving our country.
We cherish too, the Poppy red
That grows on fields where valor led,
It seems to signal to the skies
That blood of heroes never dies.
Moina Michael wrote the above poem and started the tradition of wearing a red poppy on Memorial day in honor of those who died serving the nation during war.
May those that are gone always be missed
Tho we may know them not we want their spirits to know this
They are loved, honored and revered
And we hold them each so very dear.
I would like to give a special thank you to all our Veterans and serving Military men and women for their sense of duty.
