"So what exactly is a pet required to do for his owner and more importantly what exactly am I required to do for my Owner!" |
About me:
Well what can I say about myself, and my Job. I work for a civilian security company contracted to USACE, that’s an American Military and Civilian Unit of engineers, we provide the protection getting engineers around Baghdad and other areas in Iraq, reconstructing Hospitals, orphanages, water treatment plants and electrical facilities.
Its different than your normal 9-5 type employment men normally go for, but it gives me a good balance in life, the enjoyment of helping the local communities in Iraq providing basic amenities, but also helps me enjoy and appreciate the simple things, when they are there, spending time with family and friends, but most of all it seems the little things that used to annoy you disappear, you appreciate life and people more.
I love to travel, been to various countries; Canada, America, Belize, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, Botswana, Kenya, South Africa, Nepal Base Camp Everest, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Cambodia, Viet Nam, Thailand, Europe and a few others.
Still looking to go to China, Russia, India, Australia New Zealand and always open to suggestions So I’m looking for my soulmate, someone to share the experiences with, that wants to live life to the full.
I am always an optimist, my cup is never half full, it is alway overflowing.
Feel free to add me as a friend on FB

The lost city of Petra In 1812 a young Swiss explorer named John Burkhardt disguised himself as an Arab (he spoke perfect Arabic) and hired a Bedouin guide to take him into the Arabian Desert. Under pretext of making a sacrifice at the Shrine of Aaron, Burkhardt entered the desert with a greater ambition: he'd heard talk of a mysterious city within impenetrable mountains, and he suspected it was Petra, lost city of the Nabataeans. Burkhardt no doubt knew he was onto something when he reached the Siq gorge, a deep, winding ravine sculpted by centuries of wind and water into otherworldly bulges and hollows and scoops and overhangs of smooth, colorful sandstone. A few Egyptian-style obelisks and crude tombs near the gorge entrance hinted at splendor to come. Burkhardt and his guide continued through the narrow, 1.5 kilometer-long chasm until Siq gorge finally offered up its secret: Al-Khazneh Farun (the Treasury), an ornate, pillared, 45-meter high structure carved into the face of a red sandstone cliff. Burkhardt (who went on to "discover" Abu Simbel) was the first Westerner to admire the building in over 700 years. Nearly two hundred years later, following Burkhardt's route through winding, suspense-building Siq gorge to gaze upon the Treasury and other monuments of Petra. Although Petra is anything but a lost city these days.

Jordan: Amman City The Roman Theatre is one of the best examples of Roman architecture in Amman. It is built on a side of a hill and inside it can sit more than 6000 people. The thatre was built in the 2nd century AD, during the kingdom of Antonino Pio (138 - 161). It was restored in 1957 but people used stones different from the original ones, so is restoration wasn't very accurate. Today it is used as theatre in summer.

Thailand:Patong is the most famous beach resort on Phuket. With its wide variety of activities and nightlife, Patong is an ideal place to party and play. By night the town has a bustling nightlife which includes literally hundreds of restaurants, chic lounge bars, beer bars and of course discos. The nightlife is centred around Soi Bangla (Bangla Road) however there are quiet parts of town.

The Mekong Delta is the bottom half of Vietnam's two rice baskets, the other being the Red River Delta in the North . This vast delta is formed by the deposition of the multiple tentacles and tributaries of the mighty Mekong River which has its origin in the Tibetan highland plateau 2,800 miles away. From its source, the river makes its way through China, Myanmar (Burma), Laos, Cambodia and South Vietnam before flowing out into the South China Sea. The Mekong's Vietnamese name, Cuu Long, means Nine Dragons for the nine mouths that terminate the flow of this great river as it is absorbed by the sea.
