INFPs are often called "The Idealist". The INFP focuses on making the world a better place to live and finding the meaning in life. They are idealists who strive hard to achieve the goals they have made for themselves. INFPs are very sensitive to people. They rely heavily on their intuitions to guide them. Every thing they experience, they evaluate it to see if can help they define their path in life. Their goal at the end is always the same - to help people and make the world a better place. INFP's friends will treasure them as good listeners and thoughtful, considerate, understanding, easy-going, and sincere friends. Although they may be reserved in expressing feelings, INFPs have an extraordinary depth of caring and can be quite warm with people they know well. INFPs hate conflict and tries hard to prevent it. In conflict situations, INFPs only care if the conflict is making them feel bad or not, but they do not mind who is right or wrong. This will sometimes make the INFP seem irritable and insensible to others. On the other hand, INFPs are very good at solving other people's conflicts, because they are sensitive to other people's perspectives and feelings, and have the need to help others. INFPs are usually flexible and laid-back, but when one of their values are threatened, they will become aggressive and will fight for it. If a project or job interests them, they are determined to cover every detail to work for it, although they do not naturally pay attention to details. INFPs are completely unaware of the details of maintenance in life. For example they might take a long time to notice a stain on their carpet. INFPs dislike dealing with logic and impersonal judgement, for they focus on their feelings. INFPs are hard on themselves and do not give themselves enough credit for what they have achieved, because the INFP's standards are high, which makes them difficult to work in groups. If they do not balance their standards with other people's standards, INFPs may never be satisfied with themselves and will become confused. INFPs are uncomfortable with expressing themselves through speech, but they are talented writers who have the gift to define their feelings on paper. The INFP's career is probably social service, example teachers or counselors. They enjoy working for the good of the society.
