For the first time ever I enabled the online thingie around my pic, and IM. I'm kinda the lurking type. But I'm trying an experiment. Now in the few minutes a day I can actually be on hp I'll see if I like being visible. I can be shy though, so don't be offended if I run away and hide.

So now I actually have a PhD, diploma arrived in the mail and everything. And this week I find out where I'm going to spend the rest X number of years doing my residency, and two months from now I graduate med school. Exciting (and scary) times

Howdy, yes I finally logged back in after being awol for almost a year. I have no idea how much time I'll be around, but I miss old friends (even if I got pretty much all y'all on facebook... see no more Iceland for me). Surprised to see so many things just the way I left them. And of course so much changed. We'll see how it goes, but I thought if nothing else I really should have at least said goodbye

Hmmm, so I was doing one of these little quiz things and came across the following question

I like to do a little bit of everything

Immediate answer: well, obviously I'm a singer and actress at heart so I pick the first one. Then noticed Travel, and thought, well actually I work harder at keeping that interest active in my life, so I should pick that one. Then, I'm an obsessive animal lover. Then, I read so much and really that's what I spend the most free time on is literature.

So then,
I noticed, that there's an option that says 'Science/Medical'

So why am I doing graduate degrees in both medicine and science if they are second to last on my list of interests?

I hate those random what the hell am I doing moments.
