This is a letter from Konami's Silent Hill 2 for PS2. This is one of my fav. videogames and this letter practically unfolds the storyline for the game. It's so melancholic and sad... I love it.
It is written by Mary Sunderland, James' wife. James is obviously thrilled by getting this letter since his wife has been dead for quite some time now. All shocked and confused, he travels to Silent Hill, not knowing what will unfold for him...

I HIGHLY recommed you play the video along with the reading. Mary's voice it's just... WOW... I cried when I heard her.

You promised you'd take me
there again someday.
But you never did.
