The Back Story: My roommate has been taking care of a former resident's snake. It's black and yellow, medium sized, a california something or other. Said snake owner was staying with us on her way to move to Boston. Snake owner takes out snake (named bitch by the way). When Bitch is put back, the cage is not fully closed. Bitch escapes.
This happed about 2 weeks ago. We had given her up for lost or dead.
Last Night: Around 10:30 I hear a scream and my roommates named being called. Then I hear that Bitch has found her way into my second roommate's bed. There are now four people scrambling around trying to 1)catch Bitch 2) make sure Bitch does not get away before being caught. A hamster type cage is procurred from a random drawer. I stay in the kitchen far from Bitch. Rommate 2 ends up grabbing the snake and...hurling it at rommate 1 with the cage. Bitch is not a happy snake. We cannot figure out how to get the snake from the hamster cage to her big cage, so the small one is now open in the big one. Fresh water and food were given to Bitch, then the cage was lovingly taped shut. We really don't want her out again.
She will be replaced with some very nice bookshelves.
