I was eating cereal in the kitchen when Otis wondered in. He saw that I was eating, and walked over to his empty food dish. He dragged it over to where I could see it, watched me until he was sure I was looking, then started to chew on it. I think it was a hint.

This is our cat, Rocky. Our family adopted him from a shelter a few years ago. He's named after Rocky Balboa because he punched his way out of the cardboard kennel on the ride home.

Despite the origins of his name, he's a very peaceful cat. Even though the dog bothers the hell out of him, he won't do anything more than meow and swat a couple of times before running away. He's very sociable though, and will hang out next to people for hours. He's asleep on my bed right now. ^_^

I took our puppy, Otis, for a walk today even though it was very cold outside. I walked around the park near our house. It was the first time I walked him all the way around and I thought he would probably be tired afterwards.

Bull shit. I think he's even more hyper now.

He can be annoying, but he's so damn cute it's forgivable. He's a mix between a black Lab and a wiener dog. Try face of a lab with a long body, stubby legs, and huge ass paws.

I love that little mutt.
