I am feeling very sad and lonely. One of the very first people I bought on Human Pets and who bought me has died suddenly. We got chatting on here because we were both new and we didn't really know what we were doing to start with. We added each other on FB and eventually MSN. I really wasn't in the habit of adding people I didn't know personally, in fact I thought that the only people you could meet on the net were nutters or weirdos. Well there are plenty of them about, but there are also some really lovely genuine people as well as I have found out. It seems my instincts were correct because since his death I have been in touch with other friends both in the real world and on the net and they all say the same thing that he was a lovely, caring person who would always go that extra mile.
I am suprised how upset this has made me feel as I had never met him in person, but It just goes to show you can make really good friends on here. It is such a tragedy for his family especially his son who he adored.
So to you Paul I say goodbye.....for now, and thank you for being my friend, for the laughs we shared, for the chats we had and for just being you and being there. You were such a positive person despite the hard times you had been through. I will miss you very much. I still cant believe that I wont see you pop up on MSN. My god I would get a shock if you did wouldn't I.
To the rest of you, life is short and can be snatched away from you at any moment, so make the most of it. It is possible to make good friends on here, but be careful and don't say anything that you wouldnt be prepared to say to someone face to face, and just sometimes follow your instincts and take a risk you never know where it might lead you.
