To take advantage of the nice warm weather for a trip to the beach? A frisky rodent agrees. It's also fitting that, of all visitors, Adventurous Becky the bat thumbs my first tale a 100th time. You deserve a reward. As the sun sets & dusk arrives, you get a session of playful beach fun.

Here's what I wrote on another writer's page as to what I write, answering your question. Sorry it's long and drawn out, but it's a complex question right now, and writing that out reminded me of all I am avoiding by being on Human Pets! LOL
Other writers ask me, what do I write--write now I am supposed to be writing a critical paper on an essay about Egyptian writer Nawal El Sadaawi, a paper on Pennsylvania Dutch dialect, a review of a workshop I gave on Vin Diesel's short film MultiFacial (and I need to pick out the next short film I will use in a workshop--hello You Tube!!!), I need to complete a reader's profile on my life and my reading of Judy Blume's novel Wifey, a research paper on El Sadaawi's novel Woman at Point Zero (I'm in a "Majority World" Women's Literature course) and also a final project must be created for my Teaching Literature and Literacy course. As to what I hope to write next year, if I manage to kick butt and graduate in December with this master's that will allow me to teach English while I pursue my next master's, I will be in a Writing Popular Fiction program at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, and I don't know which novel idea I have in my development hell I will choose for that two year program which will end in a hopefully published novel.
Sweet! I just have to get through the current hell first, but it will be worth it for I am learning a lot that inspires my writing. I just get mad that I don't have time to write what I want to write--only have time for what I must write for the professors! Oh well, such is life . . . there is a light at the end of the tunnel and meeting other writers here in Human Pets helps a bunch to keep me hanging on to my dream!

Nice to meet you! I would love to learn more about your experiences in China teaching, and if you go to India--which I have been studying in class--I would love to hear all about it. You are living the kind of life I only dream about, and stuck in the States in grad school, I can only live vicariously through other people who get to do the stuff of my fantasies.
