Really, they aren't that cuddly

So, my friend and I were very drunk...because we had been very bored..we were trapped on the Isle of Skye with our geriatric tour group (which could actually out drink us..but really we had nothing else in common with) ..

With nothing to do but drink or look at the four walls..we voted to drink..then we decided to go for a walk..round about midnight..We wandered off up the road to the next town. The next thing you know, we can't go any further...Sheep Crossing..someone had let there sheep out to wander and well, they crossed the road, like the chicken...to get to the other side.

one of us..and I won't tell you who had the brilliant idea of chasing the sheep "cause they look so soft and cuddly" remember....we were both rather drunk...

Okay...note to self..the ones with the Horns..yeah not so cuddly and well..they chase back..we got off pretty lightly..we were able to out run them but they really weren't happy and we had to run all the way back to town

We took the Chunnel back to England...still not talking. We were civil enough to decide to go to Picadilli Circus with eachother. After browsing through the shops separately I had lost her. I thought maybe I would check out the subway. I got half way down the stairs and everyone starts coming up the stairs.

A blond 20 something tourist had been pushed on the tracks...My heart stopped...my friend..blond 20 and very much a tourist...all I could think was what the heck am I going to tell her mother...oh my god...omg omg...I took off towards the tourist office.

Along the way I passed a store window and happened to see ...my friend bopping along to the music in the store..My heart finally started to beat normally.I was bloody well elated that I wasn't going to have to call her mother..but because I was oddly enough still pissed (more for her scaring me) and she at me..I walked in and told her I was going to go to the hotel. It took over a year to get over that fight..but I knew we would and after everything that goes on...we are still friends after 25 years..

Why you should never end your day angry at a friend.....

My friend...who knows who she is...and I were traveling around Paris and halfway up the Eifle Tower we got into a fight...who was right...who was wrong...we would both argue that for years...the bottom line is that after being friends for over a decade we stopped talking

We had four days left to go..
