an ancient soul
coils around me
curve to curve
flesh to flesh,
and i feel my mortality.
Now i am naked
before you
holding my vulnerability
like an offering,
waiting with open mouth
open heart
open mind.
You are of the
earth and fire;
i am water and air.
We complement each other,
but more,
we coil, wind, spiral
around each other
in the great dance
until we have become
human again.
