I walked along the beaten path.
My heart races knowing that I near my beloved queen.
I have been at war for way too long and my bloodied, broken armor hangs off or me.
My sword bearly hanging from my belt, soaked in blood.
For I have been to hell and back and would do it all over again to lay my eyes upon the one I love, my queen, my soulmate, my true love.
My ribs broken and the blood drips from my wounds, but alas I do not care as long my eyes will still meet with that of my queen.
seeing her castle in the distance as I turn a sharp corner of the mountains I have crossed.
My eyes widen and I begin to pick up my pace, walking turns to running which then in turns causes me to take on my lycan form, armor falling behind me as I move with grace from cliff to cliff leaping I land on the ground below.
I come to the large darkened castle to see but a candle lite in the window above, letting out a mighty howl I let her know that her beloved lycan has once again returned to her side where he belongs....

Standing within the darkness I can see the eyes peering at me, glowing, I can hear the growling from all around me. Knowing that the only way out is death or fight I ponder my options. I embrace the darkness making it mine. my eyes glow and turn the crimson red. I stand waiting for the first strike, for the first blood to be drawn.
Mine will surely spill on the cold rock floor tonight, but it will not be alone, for mine enemy will fall as the rage takes over and the carnage begins....

Sometimes I think its the inner rage that I embrace the most as why turn away such a strong part of me....With emotions that strong they deserve to be out in the open and free to do as they please....

I walk along a lonely path tonight as the cold wind bites at my exposed skin. I ignore it and wonder on alone and bloodied from a day where the battle was lost. I manage to find a cave out of the cold to keep me out of the cold for the night so that I may try to rest and regain my strength for the battles of tomorrow. For tomorrow is another day and I shall once again stand tall, arms at the ready with claws ready to rip through my enemies and teeth showing through my smirks and grins. Tomorrow the blood that will be spilt will not be mine....remember those words and stay out of my way as the new day awakes.....
