Well, I don't know what happened. Life pretty much sh*t on me, so I won't be able to spend any time here until at least June, probably later. I found some time to come on here a few days ago and there was no human pets, then today I come back and my stuff has been deleted. I suppose this is what I get for actually spending money on something I didn't need to. Whatever. Thank you for coming by, I'm not ignoring anyone, I promise. I'll be back probably well after my membership expires! lol

Feeling quite a bit *not right* today.... have a sub job for the rest of the week covering for a teacher whose brother was killed in Iraq last week. I know there are plenty of people who don't care about the politics or the war, but if you have something negative to say, take it elsewhere. The men and women fighting this war are my friends and family and I not only don't want to hear it, I won't stand for it. I can imagine a part of what she's feeling right now, as I've been in similar situations in the past few years. For the duration of this assignment and through the weekend, I cannot guarantee I'll be on HP or posting. Thanks for understanding.

I just booked our flights home for the block leave prior to his next deployment. I'm sad because it means it's definite (deployment, not vacation) and happy because I got a pretty good deal on the flights... and experiencing a love/hate relationship with Southwest right now because they wouldn't let me extend by less than a month the funds remaining from a cancelled flight last summer. They'll let me extend it when it expires, but until then, I have to find someone willing to "buy" it from me if I want to use it toward this flight. The price was too good to wait, so now I'm up a creek and don't know anyone who wants to fly anywhere right now....

Anyone flying southwest between now and June want to do a money swap?!?! xD
