Imperfect World

I was lost in a sea of sarrow

Drowning myself in my own grief

Dreaming of a better tomarrow

Love is not a fact, but a belief

I was holding onto each thought

As I seached for my answers

In constant rapture I was caught

Just a hopeless antic romancer

I was waiting for the perfect time

The perfect place and perfect girl

But it drove my feelings sublime

In this purely imperfect world

I would not have tried to hide

A single thought or feeling I've had

But I let my insecurities guide

Me into silence, driving me mad

I reach out into this dark abyss

With a new vision of what I miss

Not a world of passion and bliss

Just a little love and maybe a kiss

I love you like autumn loves leaves

Painting the sky with each breeze

I love you like mourning loves due

Gently settling in with you

I love you like christmas loves snow

No matter if it's twenty below

I love you more with each passing day

I want it to stay forever this way

I love you more then I love myself

I'ld be rich if love was wealth

I love you more with each word you say

How is it you make me feel this way

I love you with all of my heart

You're just so cute, kind, and smart

I love you with all of my soul

You make me look foreward to growing old

I love you with all of my thought

My perfect girl eternally sought

I love you even when I'm not there

There is no end to how much I care

I love you when I get a chance

To pour my heart out with romance

I love you dreaming to one day be

A Kiss Goodnight


My life is a limerick of lost thoughts

Very few find but all have sought

I breath in syllabic structure

And rhyme all the time but sure

I have been known to think too much

Of each feeling and each touch

I have been wanting to find a need

To wake up from this dormant seed

Feeling like nothing more then a shell

That only living for love could dispell

Passions burning through my mind

Dreaming to pass distant time

I was late with my reaction of haste

But at least my emotions are decased

I asked god what could I ever do

To explain myself, my love to you

To pearly gates I was never brought

But instilled in me came this thought

I still have one more thing left to do

The next time it is I who will kiss you
