i saw enchanted. it was surprisingly rather funny. i expected them to become normal people, but they are like still citizens of the disney universe and still have all their disney powers, makes for some craazaaay scenes. lol.

i saw golden compass. it was good, the best parts were with the bear. alot of the rest of it was just sorta odd though. not really bad though.

is anybody else reeeal tired of seeing women on the auction area putting up auctions for 10,000+ bids with "donation" in mind? I mean they aren't selling anything, they just want free money and figure cause they are female they can prey on some poor generous gentleman to throw his cash at them.

I mean c'mon people. its fantasy. the money isn't real. it's not hard to earn you just click random profile over and over. if you can't earn cash in a fake universe, you gotta borrow from other people, how are you gonna survive in real life where you actually have to work for money??
it's where stuff doesn't matter is where you see the true personality of people...

You have a point that it is a sad fact that evil people will not desire to lose their ways overnight. For example, was there any other way to deal with Hitler other than war? I confess I do not have all the answers and am the first to admit there are hole in my 'outlook' you could drive a semi through. Doesn't stop me from wishing it and from lamenting (for it is a somewhat hopeful lament) the thousands whose lives will never come to fruition because of collateral damage or because of lack of basic necessities that become commodities for warlords to peddle with.

But Judeo-Christian beliefs aside, it is within oneself to choose not to war. The toll of lives ravaged by conflicts around the world evince a lack of imagination. The killing of another is a travesty of unknown proportions. Can one truly grasp the significance of 300,000 dead? Can the horror of all that blood be a tool for the riddance of evil? So said the with courts of New England. So say the genocide mongers of Rwanda. Respectfully, I dissent. A recent reading of a book about Clarence Darrow (Attorney for the Damned) spoke on some of these issues and is turning out to be quite an interesting read.
