Many people ask me where I come from. I wonder that myself every so often. I've never actually known a home -- that is, until now. Since I was just a werepup, my mom has made me travel from place to place. I've never met my dad and I don't even know if I have any more family. Some times I wonder why my mom had us travel so much. Was she running from something or was she just afraid to stay in one place for too long? Not even I know the answer to that, though I wish I did.

I've travelled on my own for most of my life. You see, when I was just a pup, my mom got very sick while travelling and died over night. Before she died I spoke to her. She told me this: "No matter what happens, keep moving. Don't stop. Never look back. Just keep going." I found this very strange when she told me this, but I told her I would. And so, once she died, I left. I ran and ran and ran and I didn't look back.

I ran until finally, one day, I came to this place. It was full of forest and beautiful green grass. There was plenty of food and water there. I had never actually met anyone except for my mother before, so I was quite surprized when I saw "others". They were all different. One that they call Ash came up to me and invited me in. She was very nice. At first, I was weary of her, afraid that she might harm me. But I soon found out otherwize. She gave me a place to stay for a while and food to eat. I met many others that were kind like her. She told me about a place called Wolf Mountain one day. So, I decided to go.

When I got to Wolf Mountain it was kind of like the other place I had been in, except much more beautiful. It was heavily forested with beautiful green grass, a big, beautiful lake, and rolling hills. There was a fortress sitting atop the tallest hill. I went inside, being careful to avoid confrontation with any of the others that I might meet. The minute that I walked in Ash saw me and made me welcome. She introduced me to Snow, Nero, and many others. Those that I met that day became some of my closest friends. They welcomed me in and gave me my own room and everything! Snow took me in to town to go shopping for some new clothes. that was fun. I had never been in a town before.

That was the first time that I had ever had a place where I felt like I was at home. So now, when you ask me where I am from, I will simply answer "Wolf Mountain" because that is where I call home.

That is my story.

I wake up and yawn. It's morning now and I can smell the scent of a rain just ended. I get up and stretch. I look outside of my cave and see the forest. So many trees. That's all I can see for miles. I stick my head out of my cave and smell the air. A slight sent of deer. I slip through the woods quickly and gracefully. I don't make a sound. I see something through the trees just ahead. I crouch and sneak forward a little. It's the deer. A doe. She's injured. This shouldn't be too hard. I wait for just the right timing and then I take off at her with great speed. With one leap I grab her neck. She fights harder than I expected she would. She's very strong for being injured. Finally I have her down. One more blow to the neck and she's dead. I look around to make sure there's no other animal around that will try to take her from me. When I'm satisfied that I'm alone, I drag my new catch back to my cave to feast.

It is. The work is probably at least twice what I had in high school, but get this: it only feels like half of that load, if that much! And I'm actually learning stuff that really, really matters. You should definitely talk to your mom about WOLBI if you haven't already. I know this expression is usually said forebodingly, but "you'll never live to regret it."

I go to the one in New York. Have you thought about attending the one in your area? If it's anything like here, I highly recommend it.
