Well i've come to an understanding this morning that as much fun as it is to be bought and rebought, it's far more valuable to defend a select few with a tenaciousness than to have many pets.
I actually am blessed to have a couple of pets that are totally coveted by the community here on HP. I find strange solace in the realization that i share an equally grrrreat taste in pet selection...for after all, it might cost you everything you have to love and it still come up on the short end of the thumb...but alas if you have 2 extra points to your name,you'll always wonder if you should have spent them whether win loose or draw!

So today i learned that you can put an incredible amount of effort into something and it just not work out for you. Off topic, i think i'm going to try to thumb a little differently. When i scroll throught the pages, instead of work from the top down...i'll look for my last entry and do some upward thumb strokes.
Reminds me of a joke.
This one guy is married to this beautiful woman...she adores him, but has one little complaint...to the point that she drags him into counseling. After a couple of minutes the therapist..."I'll take the Rapist for 500 Trebeck!...SNL is killin me" ...asks what seems to be the problem?
She breaks in first...he's always wipin his nose and blowin his nose and it's just crazy! And then while we're at it, he never...never...never lets me on top while we're making love...and I just can't handle it anymore!
The therapist "The Rapist" asks the young lady to leave the room and talks to the man individually. "Man, She loves you soo much...I mean, what are you doing? Your killin her slowly!
The husband looks at the therapist and gets really intent, poiniant and intense, making this statement, "Look Doc, I hear ya, but butt out of this one! You see my daddy's dying words to me was, "Keep your nose clean and don't fuc*-up!!!"

so i'm out waggin it and slowly curlin it and an interesting thougt races through my feline mind. I remember them saying, "No thumbs no glory!" They were soo ademant about it...but i rrrrroll it overrrr and think, "Not everything has thumbs...especially cats, dogs, birds, fish, lizards mamals can't really be stereotyped to, "Have thumbs," after all here I am a Mammal of Mammals!"and i have no thumbage. So without further (no pun intended on Fur- there) ado, I say we rise up and together proclaim:

"NO TAILS NO GLORY!!!!!!!"

Well it's true, we all have tails, and i suppose like life and the pursuit of it we can get spunn in circles all the while having a semblace of fun, but really, is it beneficial? We'll for the task oriented person, i suppose that never gettin there would be aggravating, for the relational individual, maybe a bit unnerving...i mean what would other people think?...for the peaceful person all this commotion would be far from beneficial.
But Alas! for the fun one like myself, i might catchit, i might like it, i might break all types of things like records, hearts, humilty, boundries, expectations...but all the while enjoying the company of all who jump in or just sit by and throw stones! wooohooo!
So slide on over and tease me and instigate a good time for we only have 1 Tale to live!!
