About me:
I am originally from Glasgow, have also lived in London, Paisley and Munich, which I consider my home town and where my German picked up a slight local accent. I write and have acted on stage and radio as well as dubbing films (if you've watched the dubbed version of the UK DVD of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or Run Lola Run you've heard my voice). In 1999 I experienced a total eclipse of the sun on a balcony in the middle of Munich with my arm around the waist of someone I considered at the time the most beautiful woman I had ever met. I then went off and wrote a fairy tale about a poet and a princess. My most exciting experience was standing naked in a thunderstorm with lightning that turned night into day and raindrops the size of marbles.

Sometimes I just don't know. I had intended to go to the cinema today to catch a couple of films, but I got up and sat here and felt unaccountably nervous, my stomach fluttering and twittering and not in a particularly pleasant manner. I thought to myself "I can't go until this eases" and then I thought "okay, I'm not going today then" and as soon as I did so the feeling started to diminish. Sometimes I just don't know.
