Okies, I got an idea how to promote my reading group a bit more =) Its the Book Worms Heard. I will just paste the stuff I post there in my tales, so if anyone is at all interested, they will see it. So here we go =) Hello again to everyone who pops by... like ever :P I have finally read "Or Mice and Men" by John Steinback. I thought it was good, interesting, but if the plot involved some more character evolution it would have been better. Otherwise the story is so short, by the end of it, the sympathy and understanding for the characters is not as strong as it could have been. Also, I have finished Salinger's "Catcher in the Rye". Loved the way it written. It has a lot of interesting points, its rather outspoken... Really not much to comment on it, since classic being a classic, it is a given that its worth it. Right now, I started Mervyn Peake's Ghormenghast Trilogy. Anybody has heard of it?? Its not very big, although i dont see why. Its 50s fantasy epic. Genre of Tolkien but add amazing language and discriptions to that. I do recommend it to the lovers of fantasy.
