Sometimes it is meaningless
The touch unfelt, inconsequential and unsatisfying.
But sometimes your kisses resonate on my lips.
And not at the times when one might expect:
At sunset,
After you give me flowers,
During a long farewell.
But at the times when I expect it the least:
Glancing up from my computer,
Getting money out of my wallet,
Picking up my bag.
Making my most innocuous moments significant.
