Such loveliness in the eyes of an angel,
Such tenderness at one's feet.
You dance in the sky as such angels do,
Tasting freedom that is so sweet.

You know not the peril of your decisions,
They are held in disregard,
You dance only for the sake of dances,
making sure that you're off guard.

It takes one of your stature,
One of regal bearing,
To appreciate life's greatest gifts,
And to give the gift of caring.

Beyond "I love you"

There's words needed said,
Not enough ways to say,
I'm stuck.
Can't find how to tell you
Just how you make me feel?
The way you make me laugh.
The way you make me smile.
Such love.
The pure kind.
The kind that lasts forever.
Our love is one of myths and legends,
One that inspires song.
I love you darling,
But somehow,
That's not enough.
Not strong enough.
I wish there were words,
But I'm glad there aren't.
I like the mystery,
The depth,
The feeling,
So far beyond "I love You"

This is my first sonnet. I wrote it in Shakespearean Format as a gift for my Love.

I danced with you beneath the summer sky,
Your gaze broke mine and you left me alone
Clouds could fall and, Darling, so would I.
I never will forget how the sun shone.

I closed my eyes to hide the light and then
I felt a kiss fall gently on my lips.
Eyes snapped open to see your face again,
Your touches tracing on my fingertips.

To hold you in my arms, most darling Love
Creates a lovers' paradise for us.
Entwined with starlight shining from above,
I pray forever you and I be thus.

I love you so, most sweet and darling Dear,
I will forever want to keep you here.
