It's freaking cold up here. It hasn't gone above zero in 4 days. It is hard to fathom 50 degrees below freezing until you have felt it. For me, it hurts to breath air that cold. 4 layers is just the beginning. At this point I would be happy if it just warmed up to freezing! Brrrr.

It's International Talk Like a Pirate day! wooo! In the top 3 of my favorite holidays. Basically, silliness and drinking are main parts of the day. Also! New words (aye!) and a new name! I have hereby been renamed to Cap'n Eve Sagginsails. I considered Blind Faith Barbossa, but I have full function of my sight, have little to no faith, and barbs are not my thing in any sense. Here's to grog! Arrrrrrrrrg!

Come lubbers, landrattes, and küstenschiffers one and all- You should take a vocab lesson and get a new name too! They even have German-pirate speak :) so get to it or zu den Haien schicken!!

it is nice to have animals as neighbors. Moose running around. Fox following you. Bunnies scrambling, birds chirping, squirells and mice zig-zaging and making a playground of the trees. and couples dressed in matching tye-dye. ahh the beautiful elements of nature.

have you ever noticed that advertisements like to make inanimate objects animate? for instance, all the weightloss ads tell you of the "stubborn" belly fat..... like it has a personality and is staying on your abs b/c "it" is too lazy to move.... not the person who caused it to accumulate.... no it's not the triple patty big macs and xxl grease sticks and 40 oz "diet" coke you are eating for lunch everyday b/c you just can't muster up the time to make a sandwich in the morning... or bother to find a subway......

ok had a little fit there. now I have bitched and it is over. and yes, I do enjoy a good cheese fry dipped in ranch every now and again.....

freaking hannah! in the past 2 months along with all the normal flu bugs and colds going around I have also been dealing with the craziest things! a diseased gall bladder with stones that I had surgery for in december, laryngitis, and most recently plantar fasciitis! wtf? I wonder what it will be next...
