so my dog? the one featured in the last tale? he died thursday, the 19th of june 2008. he was 15 years old, completely blind, completely deaf, very arthritic, and had very few teeth left, which resulted in his tongue always sticking out on the right. he had a good, long life (until the end, at least) and he will be missed.

my dog!!! *sad* he burst a blood vessel or something in his right eye so the whole eye is a raw sort of dark pink and the vet says there's nothing they can do! he's now completely blind in that eye, has a cataract in the other, he's deaf, has a skin condition, and has really bad arthritis. he has a hard time going up and down stairs and he sleeps like 20+ hours a day now. it scares the hell out of me. i know he's really old (like... over 15years and he's a yorkie so that's old...) but i don't live here with my dad anymore and sooner or later i'll come back to visit and he'll be gone. i named him after my first stuffed animal i ever had when i was a little girl. the thought of him being dead or even in as much pain as he is now is terrible.

this weekend has been very nice. i got a nice break from the bussle of the week. now, however, my owner has left town and i won't be following suit for a few days, so i'm just sort of alone. it's really not as sad as i make it sound, but... i guess these sorts of things matter more to pets.
