To anyone considering seeing Walk Hard, I'd recommend waiting until it comes out on dvd so you can rent it. It was amusing enough, and the references to various musicians was nice (Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan...just to name a few), but, really, it wasn't worth wasting $10 on. I'd much rather have seen Atonement or something else instead. That's just my 2 cents.

I finished 1984 yesterday, and, honestly, I have never read a more terrifying book in my life. To imagine life ever being as it is in that book...good lord...I couldn't do it. To be stripped of all humanity and turned into nothing but a pointless automaton; being nothing more than a worthless pawn to The Party. It's frightening. If you haven't read it yet, I suggest you do. 1984 is really quality literature.
