So the airtanker base i work at opened last Thursday due to the fire in the Santa Cruz Moutains... the tankers flew a few days....with some fire gel and then switched to fire retardant... been pretty slow now because the fire is almost contained! Not sure if my base is gonna close again for a few days and then re-open on June 1st like originally was supposed to or what... Im hoping not.. because i want to stay working and get alot of OT. anyways thats all for now.. this fire season is gonna be crazy for sure!

Yay.. finally I got the word when we are gonna start working on my base so that i will get my ex tank and other operations going.. so come june 1st my fire season will open and I will be ready to roll! I think its gonna be a harsh fire season again.. we will see! ya I love my job just a little.. lol!
