I have had a somewhat harsh life so far but it has only made me stronger. When i was 13 i was taken form my home and placed in foster care after that I was put in my wonderful home that I have been part of for the past 6 years. My family is all black and my mom is only 5'2 but a force to be reckoned with. I was Prom king of my high school prom and went to honduras with my church to build a community center for a small village. I also ran state track and went to state for the 300 hurdles and the 4X400 ( my best split is 49.3 in the 4X400 for those of you who know what I am talkign about). I ended high school with a 3.99 and 7th in my class of 358. Without being taken from my home and placed with my foster family ,which i call my family because they are exactly that and no one can tell me otherwise, I would not be here today and getting a full ride to the University of Washington. I am soooo thankful that so many events took place in my youth to put me on this path... a path that has a future and a dream.
