Friday sucked -- came in second in the school's Battle of the Banners competition (which isn't bad, but the other teachers on my team were annoyed and very critical), lost the condo that I bid upon (they refused to lower their price), and a friend of mine died. So yeah, I'm not going to be around as much as I should be. I need to go off into a corner and sulk and be sad now!!!! Melania, if you read this, please call me....

I'm still searching desperately for a home to call my own. My realtor and I are going out at least twice a week (add in work and physical therapy and doctors... and yeah, you can see why I've not been here!). I'm looking in the Marlton and Mount Laurel areas. It's so hard bc when I find the perfect place, it's facing a parking lot... and the ones in the perfect area with trees are too expensive for my poor teacher self! LOL.

Hopefully I'll find something soon...

Sorry that I haven't been on a lot lately! I've been going to physical therapy between 3 and 4 times a week lately. I hurt my knee in 2005 and it never healed correctly. So, we're trying physical therapy as an alternative to surgery. I'm thinking that surgery is unavoidable though.... argh!!!

But yeah, that's why I don't get on every day like I want to -- sometimes I'm just too flippin' tired!

Just as a reminder -- it's RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS WEEK!!! (in case you missed my comment... lol)

Do something nice for someone or many someones. :)

My kids at school are doing a project with this -- they're all doing 2 kind things for someone in their class. They're giving each other compliments, help with homework, lollipops, snacks, hugs, and ... well, money. That last one scares me a little.

And of course, I'm doing my random acts of kindness by dropping little gifts into the other teachers' mailboxes, like lollipops and chocolates. Tomorrow, I have a bag of munchkins and a Dunkin' Donuts gift card for one teacher. Yay!

So, be kind. :)
