Regret by Dom


I'm drowining in my own regret

past six feet and almost out of breath

I'm screaming for anyone to hear me

but it seems i'm left the same way I came

I close my eyes and watch everything pass

as I bleed out any feeling I thought I ever had

watching the past as I feel myself go numb

taking my final bow so silently

woundering if anyone will ever remeber the cause I left behind

woundering if my riddles will be solved once and for all

I watched my own self destruction for so long

with no where to go to defuse it

I tasted the end so many times

and watched the demons sink there poison deep inside me

bending me past the point of break

never realizing I wouldn't repair so easily this time
