Flower in Your Hand...
If only i was a flower in Your hand
You would look at my petals and understand
what ways to make me bloom again
this shallow earth filled with men
who tug and pull and strain these leaves
break down the perfection of what lies beneath.
But in Your grasp i learn to please
to grow and form and fall to my knees
before You, aching to be whole
to free my spirit in Your control
and then at last peace finds me ..and i understand
that i have always been a flower in Your hand.
