JABBERWOCKY Lewis Carroll (from Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There, 1872) `Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe. "Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!" He took his vorpal sword in hand: Long time the manxome foe he sought -- So rested he by the Tumtum tree, And stood awhile in thought. And, as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came! One, two! One, two! And through and through The vorpal blade went snicker-snack! He left it dead, and with its head He went galumphing back. "And, has thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!' He chortled in his joy. `Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe; All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.

James Joyce. Finnegan's Wake. Book 2, Episode 4, Page 383 Three quarks for Muster Mark! Sure he hasn't got much of a bark And sure any he has it's all beside the mark. But O, Wreneagle Almighty, wouldn't un be a sky of a lark To see that old buzzard whooping about for uns shirt in the dark And he hunting round for uns speckled trousers around by Palmerstown Park? Hohohoho, moulty Mark! You're the rummest old rooster ever flopped out of a Noah's ark And you think you're cock of the wark. Fowls, up! Tristy's the spry young spark That'll tread her and wed her and bed her and red her Without ever winking the tail of a feather And that's how that chap's going to make his money and mark!

"Don't say in words about love Just sigh furtively( at the beginning of love) And your eyes will light like stars. A kiss hasn't a name, Red roses smell like kisses And like petals stay on your lips. Don't ask for proof for your love, You will face happiness and troubles in love. "You are mine", hands can only say...." by Yesenin(Russian poet)

I want that you share my fascination I had last spring :) on my trip to Petra in Jordan, it was like a dream :) It is like the 8th world wonder :) I seldom have seen such an impressive scenario, firts you go nearly one hour through a deep valley like into they the throat of a huge beast. They ancient dwellers drove there symbols, bridges, arcs, houses, windows into the naked stone. Form all the steep walls the door wholes look at you like mistic giant eyes - the opens to temples, theaters, even cathedrals hewn into the cold and hard rocks. Hueg is this city, thousands of souls muts have lived there and closing the eyes, listening the voices of the camels and all the people around my in ancient tongue I could feel how it must have been 2000 years agao, when caravans loaded with valuable spices, noble silk, ivory, gems and noble metals and furs of exotic animals. Talking with each other, bargaining, shouting prices and praising there goods, the laughter of young girls flirting with the traders. I thing for a moment the echoes bring songs of ancient camel drivers back, who sing with melancholic voices, heated up by the wine about there families far away. And the wind blows deep and mysterious chords in the multiple openings in a stone, like a unearthly ancient organ.
