The best product of Jamaica's Sprint Factories, World 100M record holder 21 year old Usain Bolt, totally destroyed the rest of the competition earlier today at the Beijing Olympics with enough time to slow down, turn sideways, smile for the cameras, and shout a few words, before finishing at 9.69 seconds and winning the GOLD at The 29th Olympiad (Beijing Olympics).
The entire frickin' country is totally ecstatic!! And will be totally be for a really really really long frickin' time!!
The main obstacle for a Jamaica winning a GOLD at the Olympics is the past few years were the Americans, who were jacked up on all kinds of steriods. But this time around no one at all is sterioded, everyone is clean and totally natural. As a fellow Jamaican correctly put it, "No phamacies onboard!"
Also in what was hailed as "The Dream Race" were Trinidad's Richard Thompson, who finished second, American Walter Dix who finished third, as well as two more of the fine products of JA's Sprint Factories, Michael Frater and former world record holder Asafa Powell. Many Jamaica's were hoping for a BOLT/Powell finish, get GOLD and SILVER medals, but due to injuries, Asafa Powell finished in fifth place, then Frater in sixth. They're still the fastest men out there so just getting to the finals is a huge event in anyone's book! A let down though was that Tyson Gay did not make the finals as many a Jamaican, as well as the rest of the wanted to see his ass kicked by Asafa Powell in the finals. Asafa kicked it in the semifinals, so it's probably not too bad.
BOLT's work isn't over yet as he still has the 200M and the 4x100M with Asafa Powell. The rest of the track must be scared now.
What do you think? Two more GOLD's for the Lightning BOLT??!!!
