I went out with my family today, inspite of all the fires that are surrounding our area, and went for a hike to go pick up his turkey decoys. On the way not only did we pick up a bushal of sunflower heads for all the birds, squirrels, and rabbits, but I got to see a great horned owl nest! When the bushy owl took flight because of the dogs we spotted three big babies in the nest! So even though i got extremely dusty and my mouth and gum taste like grit, it was well worth it to see my first owl in the wild! cool eh? ;)
