Hallo all. A special physical greeting for just to you! Yup, I mean you. The person who's reading this now. I've got a special routine running to show different messages to different people - pretty nifty eh! /eyes darting from side to side/
Anyway, I am returned. To an extent at least. I'm not writing atm, and am somewhat less flirtatious. Nothing personal, just singed a few times and slightly more careful about getting burned.
Personal side: I'm doing quite well, had good Halloween and have finished a number of pieces in recent days (I'll throw up pics soon). Opening up to being social again - making another attempt to find some decent, interesting, open ppl to interact with (dreaming in technicolor...)
To tell the truth (as usual ;-) I'm interested in meeting two types of ppl:
1)Interesting, intriguing, intelligent, open minded, honest ppl from anywhere at
all. Eventual goal - to have a small group of friends, exchanging ideas/anecdotes/troubles and happiness/idle nonsense...
2) Exactly the same with the addition of being in my area AND open to interacting in person (pause for gasp). Online exchanges can be many things, positive and... less so, but I thank we all agree that it's nice to get together in life; simply to have a drink or walk in nature with a decent human being!
Given the whole ex-hermit thing I've got going, I simply don't have such people in my life. Aside from family and a Very few very exceptional exceptions! :-D
'k, more than long enough now. Y'all know me and the whole open/honest/direct thing. A core belief is that life is purer with everything openly presented. Plus I apparently felt like writing a saga-sized personal tale /shrug/

I'm sorry to all that I've been so absent & uninteresting lately.
My best friends father has just died, and I have been caught up in Real Life .... stay away from there, ppl. Very odd things going on. Weird people everywhere...
Frankly, don't offer condolences or anything, he was a d*ckhead. My friend has been being jerked around by him for years, ... can't be happy for the event, but I'm empathetic and sympathetic with/for my friend - I'm not upset at his father's final disappearance.

Does anyone out there believe that Representative Democracy is a 'fair' way to manage/oversee a large and diverse population?
Just curious. To me it seems that such belief equates closely to religious faith (of any kind); in that both require one to discard observational evidence in favor of an Idea that is inherently unprovable. Plus I find any organizations built around either (political or religious) belief set to be truly revolting examples of the depths humanity sinks to.

At that, this would apply equally to any system of govt I have yet studied/encountered. Anyone out there believe that the Concept of 'fair' government over wide area / diverse population is even viable with our current definitions of both 'fair' and 'government'?
