Braintax's Exodus (This song touches my heart):

"Me speaking from the land of the lost,
Southern Hemisphere - land of the adopted cross,
strange temples in the jungle to the holiest mosque,
we seek refuge, running from the western frost,
i came down here with a truck load of folks,
sixty-eight year, my rucksack covered in smoke ,
(we all choke) when the cities got too much,
love collapsed, all the time even the rich got touched,
they should of thought of that, way back, in fact,
they should of thought of that before they started f***ing with gas,
cuz science moves faster now than nature evolves,
an industry abused it til the coasts dissolved,
heating up the planet, a cooling what’s hot cause and effect,
it’s so simple but nobody gave a heck,
cuz ice sheets break down here,
it’s not real, it’s just a freak change of weather,
or an act of all mighty powers,
everybody flees the acid rain showers,
and here in the future we been travellin for hours,
I’m making from the truck camp seat, and I’m hungry,
it’s Friday, we’re passing the equator next Monday,
I’m out of breath, pause a sec,
this pressure air is f***ing with the glands in my neck,
(i feel bad now) this exodus is gonna kill the second half
of what’ s left on this globe, demographics of death.
"And from the town crop looking on the forest road below,
the convoy creeps Westerners with lives in tow,
here's an irony, i guess that when we made a whole mess,
the way the very thing we breed became the price of progress,
(you know what?) we could take this air and bottle it,
and take it back and make a mint, but for what?, what we got?,
my home got swallowed by the rising sea level,
then the year long ground frost, came and left the crops disheveled,
from a century before last, now i was cast
in what was made from suger cane, and the slavery passed,
a new bridge, a new town, all around, a new mill,
the more pollution, more money, more work, and less skill,
first gap in the ozone, nobody gets ill,
greenhouse effect, people too needy to chill,
so all they ever did was ban CFC's in aerosols,
and now we've had to leave, i wonder if i ever cared at all,
the rich world transplanted to the south,
leaves skin cancer, asthma, acid rain and drought,
It’s warming up South America and the Philippines, Exodus,
we bringing nightclubs and currency with us,
Coca Cola and coke refined from the plants,
in the valley we pollute while we set up camp,
(I didn’t mean to) germs kill better than guns,
the whole of the Europe and America, f**king with the sun,
its only just begun, but i can see it can’t you?
as far as I’m concerned there’s only one thing to do,
move away now, move move away, i'll be on the bus,
Mad Max style travel, showing you the Exodus."
