When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears With their tedious diatribes about how hard things were. When they were growing up; what with walking Twenty-five miles to school every morning . Uphill... barefoot... BOTH ways...Yadda, yadda, yadda. And I remember promising myself that when I grew up, There was no way in hell I was going to lay A bunch of crap like that on kids about how hard I had it And how easy they've got it! But now that.... I'm over the ripe old age of Thirty, I can't help but look around and notice the youth of today. You've got it so easy! I mean, compared to my Childhood, you live in a damn Utopia! And I hate to say it but you kids today you Don't know how good you've got it! I mean, when I was a kid we didn't have The Internet. If we wanted to know something, We had to go to the library and Look it up ourselves, in the card catalog!! There was no email!! We had to actually write Somebody a letter, with a pen! Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in the mailbox and it would take like a week to get there! There were no MP3' s or Napsters! You wanted to Steal music, you had to hitchhike to the record store and shoplift it yourself!Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio and the DJ'd usually talk over the beginning and @#*% it all up! We didn't have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you Were on the phone and somebody else called they got a busy signal, that's it! And we didn't have fancy Caller ID either! When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was! It could be your school, your mom, your boss, your Bookie, your drug dealer, a collections agent, you just didn't know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances, mister! We didn't have any fancy Sony Playstation video Games with high-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600! With games Like 'Space Invaders' and 'asteroids'. Your guy was a little square! You Actually had to use your Imagination!! And there were no multiple levels or Screens, it was just one screen Forever! And you could never win. The game just kept getting Harder and harder and Faster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE! You had to use a Little book called a TV Guide to find out what was On! You were screwed when it Came to channel surfing! Network either! You could only get cartoons On Saturday Morning. Do you Hear what I'm saying!?! We had to wait ALL WEEK For cartoons, you spoiled Little rat-bastards! And we didn't have microwaves, if we wanted to heat Something up we had to use the stove .... Imagine that! That's exactly what I'm talking about! You kids Today have got it too easy. You're spoiled. You guys wouldn't have lasted Five minutes back in 1980! Regards, The over 30 Crowd"

If I Ever Become a Vampire

1. I shall wear tweed, and cheerful bright clothing. Further, I shall only wear trenchcoats if it is raining or foggy.
2. I will not take my victims home. My neighbours are far too nosy.
3. I will be secure in my immortality. I do not have to share my story with any reporter or struggling writer.
4. I will not purchase an expensive foreign sports car or motorcycle. An economical, multi-terrain vehicle with 4 wheel drive will be just fine.
5. I will immediately become Agnostic, disarming any cross-wielding religious maniacs.
6. I shall not keep a coffin in the basement, that's the first place people look.
7. I shall immediately purchase a Hooked on Phonics tape, in order to lose any Romanian accents I may have.
8. My ghouls shall have good posture.
9. I will purchase a digital watch with an alarm. I will set this alarm for TWO hours before sunrise, giving ample time for traffic and other inconveniences.
10. If I feel truly alone, and need a companion to share all of eternity with, I shall purchase a dog. Preferably one that is not larger than I am.
11. If the neighbourhood kids are snooping around my house, I will not change into a giant wolf and attempt to destroy them. Instead, I shall call the police and have them arrested for trespassing.
12. If I believe far too many people are becoming suspicious, I shall not attempt to kill them all. I will simply move, and leave no forwarding address.
13. There is no logical reason for someone to mistake another human being for a fifteen-foot bat, not even in hysteria. Therefore, I shall refrain from such transformations in public.
14. Artists are over-emotional and unstable. I shall not keep company with them whatsoever.
15. I will not attend gatherings of my own kind. If I'm a lethal killing machine, doomed for all eternity to destroy those around me, they probably are too.

Felt like Posting one of my Poems

Shadow dancer


Dancing like a shadow,
flickering away from the light
sultry and swirling around
smoke twirling away from a forgotten ciggerette

mystery and intrigue
your defenses of the heart
keeping distance between us
preventing yourself from loving again

charred walls keep me at bay
towering around you in all directions
clawing through the stones I struggle
endlessly struggling to show you my love

collapsing in exhastion
my fingers bruised and bleeding
pain hammers through them
a heart breaking sigh escapes my lips

knowing I'm locked out
I draw the fire of my heart from within like a torch
lighting a candle to show you the path
the endless path into my heart

For the legend of Violet the dom I shall tell
Though silly he seemed on the face of it all
Many's the subbie he held in his thrall

Some said it was luck that made them submit
But now I shall tell you the real truth of it
Though his tongue was silver I must now confess
The secret did lie in his purple leather dress!
