A young man and his friend asked me if he could buy a cigarette from me tonight (usually happens when I'm downtown lol). Anyway I gave him 2 cigarettes and declined to take his money. He was in a wheelchair and his friend was pushing him plus it is very very cold outside and I felt bad for them. He thanked me and said most people are mean to him when he asks for a cigarette but I'm a "nice old lady". Something about this kid really touched me ~ We talked about spirituality and what happens after death. I don't think I will forget this encounter for a long time. I wish him well. Your Ghost: I fill my lungs as it passes through the room, through me. It's where I find you. In pauses. The timeless reaches of the day. In those moments all else is silenced by the gentle tapping on my shoulder. ~Jason Andrea
When we look back on our life.. do we think...what have we done?...what could we have done differently? Or was this just ... our destination? Are we really in control of what happens to us? Does our childhood affect who we become as adults? How we perceive the world and everyone in it? They say that when we are born.. that's when we learn the most...and becomes the foundation for the duration of our lives. Indeed ~ this may be good ~ and indeed this may be destructive ~ depending on who the teacher was.
Be kind ... not everyone was born in a glass house with good teachers.
