For many years I fought and sought
To seek victory for The Goddess of Light
Just when I thought, all was for naught
I was tempted by a Goddess of the Night
So innocent she seemed, with her long golden hair
But her full lips and her eyes screamed seduction
I knew in my heart she'd be my salvation
But most likely she'd be my destruction
She beckoned me in to her dark foreboding lair
And removed her long flowing cloak
Beneath lie her scantily clad figure
I knew, for escape, there was no hope
In mere moments she had my every attention
My every desire breathes of her beauty
My every thought was of her sweet scent
I knew right away, she could see right through me
She tasted my heart, and dined on my pain
Her glance never changing at all
She made me feel at ease, and gave peace to my mind
I'd almost forgotten how far i did fall
But before it could go any further into sin
I had to control my dark lust
I told the Goddess I needed to leave
She asked if I really must
She claimed my pain tasted so divine
And that she wished I would not leave
I said I can not give trust to the withered thing
I once wore on my tattered sleeve
I left her in her lair of sin and pain
But her dark soul beckons me still
I wondered if I'd see her again
But I knew in my heart that i will
