She finaly decided that she needed to get up for the day about an hour later. She sat up in bed and stretched her arms in the air. As she sat on the edge of the bed, finishing waking up, her puppy came running up to her. "That was odd." she thought, she remembered leaving the dog in its room, and not letting it out, as she petted the young dog. Puzzled as she was, she got dressed and started getting ready for the day. After she got dressed, she walked out of her room and into the living room, where the sun was shining through the windows. Again, she had the curtains closed when she went to bed. What was going on here? Who was doing all of these things? Then she heard it, there was someone in the kitchen. Cooking. She heard something sizzling on the stove. There was someone else in the house. But doesn't looking like anyone had broken in. She was very confused. The only other person that had a key to the door was in Afghanistan. Quickly grabbing the closest blunt object, she started towards the kitchen. As she walked into the kitchen, she saw the fridge open, there was someone bent over in on the other side to where she couldn't see who it was. She could see feet, this person wasn't wearing shoes."Looks like he made himself at home," she thought to herself. The smell of bacon from the stove filled up the house. She lifted up vase, about to swing as the person shut the door. She was in such shock with who it was she dropped the vase, causing it to shatter. Speechless she jumped into his outreached arms.

The sunlight from the open window shined brightly in her eyes, waking her up. She rolled over in bed, trying to fall back asleep. As she rolled, her eyes caught the picture she had of her closest friend, her lover, her world who was currently fighting on the other side of the world. Before she knew it she caught herself smiling as she was falling asleep. It wouldn't be long before he would be back with her.
