My name is Drew. I have been a part of Human Pets almost since it first launched - wayyy back in the day when it was a Facebook App. I tend to come and go as it is far from the popular online hangout it once was.
I am 29 years of age. Currently living in Toronto, Ontario with my fiance and four dogs - yes, four (Charlie, Jada, Lucky, and Enzo)! I am from the east-coast but have a tendency to move around quite a bit. Any Human Pets who have gotten to know me over the years know my moving habits. I have a variety of interests and hobbies, like most. I tend to geek out over wrestling. Love sporting competitions ... mostly the Olympics ... Summer and Winter. I find myself drawn to politics. I read random Wikipedia pages just for the hell of learning something new. I love to see other people happy. There's plenty of things to know about me ... if I tell everything here, what will we talk about?
I like to meet people who are open-minded. I have no preferences of people I would like to meet. You be kind to me, I'll be kind to you. I have no hang-ups with regards to race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender-identity. I am an open-book, and love meeting others who are the same.
Like I said, I have no hang-ups ... feel free to message me any time. I will always respond when I see that you've sent a message or a comment. I am not constantly online here on HP, but as soon as I am, I will reply.
So, the fiance and I are in our new house. Still getting everything situated but, our cable and internet is set up as of today. That's the obvious priority, right? lol.
I don't think I've ever felt so relaxed. Knowing I finally have something keeping me in one place is one of the best feelings in the world. I've done so much moving over the past 10-13 years and even with my family as a child, I'm just thrilled to be able to stay put. The pups are even enjoying it.
Now, I am sitting in OUR house getting ready to watch the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony, and welcoming in Wrestlemania XXXIII weekend!
Hope you're all doing well. It's Droo"Droo boo~"

So, the other half and I are moving into our new house next week! Finally, after moving around so much in the past 10-13 years, I am finally planting roots. I turned 30 earlier this month so it's perfect timing. It'll give us the opportunity to settle into a home with our four dogs (I know!), and save money to hopefully do more travelling rather than moving.
Also ... I'm friggin' 30. I've aged a lot since I first got on HP. It's Droo"Droo boo~"

Well, the tale of the wandering Droo continues ...
Everyone I've met on HP and created meaningful friendships with all know I've moved a lot over the past 10-12 years. I moved from Alberta to Ontario in April and now, on a quick unplanned whim, my fiance and I packed up and moved back to our home in Newfoundland.
Since 2006, I've moved from Alberta to Newfoundland, Newfoundland to Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia to Newfoundland, Newfoundland to Alberta, Alberta to Newfoundland, Newfoundland to Alberta, Alberta to Ontario and now Ontario to Newfoundland. That's not including the fact that those times I've been living back in Newfoundland, I've lived in George's Brook, Clarenville and St. John's. Three different places in the one province alone.
I am ready to settle. Michael and I are building ourselves up into a position to purchase a house ... hopefully by the beginning - middle of this upcoming summer. I am sick of moving and I need to set my roots.
If I am not on HP much, it shouldn't come as much of a shock. I've been poor at keeping in touch over the past few years on here. BUT, I still check in for a moment here and there and if you message me, I will respond. I apologize for not being regularly active, however.
Hopefully I can catch up with you all very soon!
Hope you've all had a fantastic Christmas/Holiday season. Wishing you all the very best in 2017 ... may it be better than 2016.

How can one become a Mod? I've been around for years now and have always secretly wanted to be one. I find myself having a crap ton of time on my hands these days and would love a little something fun to do to get back on here regularly. It's Droo"Droo boo~"
