I have in recent years had experiences with Autistic people. One being me r/l ex husband who has Asberbergers, a form of high functioning Autism. Then, about 2 years ago, I went with a friends family to Texas for the Christmas Holidays, my friends neice has a form of high functioning Autism as well.
Many people do not understand those with Autism, they are labled stupid, slow, retarded, but they are not. My friend's 10 year old neice can't tell you what 2+2 is, but she can tell you the mathmatical formula for Pie. I don't know many who can do that. She can't tell you that if you have two glasses of equal length filled halfway with water that if you pour both into another glass of equal length that it will be a full glass, but she can tell you how to take a computer keyboard apart and put it back together correctly.
These people are not stupid, or slow, they are special. Everyone needs to be made aware of this. Feel free to send a request to join this herd if you would like to help raise awareness and support the special people with Autism.
